Care Partners Services and Volunteer Opportunities

Who:
Care Partners of Cook County
Where:
Lower level of Sawtooth Mountain Clinic, Monday-Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Care Partners provides vital support and services to help clients and their families to address the transitions of aging, serious illness, and end of life with safety, dignity, and confidence.

Caregiver Coffee Groups meet every month in Tofte to share resources and discuss topics related to caregiving.

Senior Rides Program needs volunteer drivers to provide rides for those 60 and older to out-of-county medical, dental, and eye appointments, to meet transportation needs not met by Arrowhead Transit or friends and relatives. Senior Rides also offers transportation within Cook County for medical appointments, as well as wellness and social activities. Volunteers are reimbursed for mileage and can choose their assignments.

Senior Chore Program provides assistance for short-term tasks for those 60 and over. Chore volunteers are needed to help provide that service. There are a variety of chores, both inside and outside, from which you can choose. Volunteers are reimbursed for mileage and can choose their assignments.
