Care Partners of Cook County
Lower level of Sawtooth Mountain Clinic, Monday-Friday 10 am to 4 pm
Care Partners provides vital support and services to help clients and their families address the transitions of aging, serious illness, and end of life with safety, dignity, and confidence.
Caregiver Coffee Groups meet every month in Grand Marais and Tofte (at Birch Grove Center) to share resources and discuss topics related to caregiving.
Senior Rides Program needs volunteer drivers to provide rides for those 60 and older to out-of-county medical, dental, and eye appointments, to meet tranportation needs not met by Arrowhead Transit or friends and relatives. Senior Rides also offers transportation within Cook County for medical appointments, as well as wellness and social activities. Volunteers are reimbursed for mileage and can choose their assignments.
Senior Chore Program provides assistance for short-term tasks for those 60 and over. Chore volunteers are needed to help provide that service. There are a variety of chores, both inside and outside, from which you can choose. Volunteers are reimbursed for mileage and can choose their assignments.
