Volunteers needed: WTIP's "Still the One" membership drive, March 1 to 5

WTIP's "Still the One" membership drive - our FIRST drive of the year - is coming up, March 1st through 5th, and volunteers are needed to help make it a success! If you have an hour or two to give taking pledges or can provide food and/or snacks, it's a great way to support community radio.

There are several ways to sign up: call Deb or Jana at 218-387-1070; stop by the station at 1712 West Highway 61; or look in the "Current Events & Announcements" on our website for links to sign up online.

Cook County Senior Center Lunch Tuesday, February 20th

Lunch is served every weekday at noon at the Cook County Senior Center, and today's meal is chicken tetrazzini, green beans, fruit, and milk.

You can reserve your spot for lunch by calling 387-2660 by 9:30 this morning. 

 

Cook County AA, Al-Anon, and CoDA Meetings, Tuesday, February 20th

There are regular meetings of AA in Cook County.

On Tuesdays there is an AA Big Book Study Group meeting at 6 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Grand Marais.

Border to Border Touring Route

A listening session for the proposed “Border to Border Touring Route” will be held in Grand Marais on Tuesday, Feb. 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Cook County High School cafeteria.
The listening session is hosted by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Parks and Trails Division, in conjunction with the National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council and the Minnesota 4-Wheel Drive Association.
The DNR and these entities are hoping to develop a signed, mapped route for highway-licensed, four-wheel drive vehicles, following routes that are already open for driving. 
 

Trivia Night February 20th

Minnesota Master Naturalist

Third Annual Vintage Snowmobile Ride and Show
