Great Place Project Celebration

Minnesota artist, Gene Ritchie Monahan

The Johnson Heritage Post is holding an exhibition of more than 70 oil paintings by Minnesota artist, Gene Ritchie Monahan. The opening reception is Friday, August 26, from 5 to 7 pm, with an informational talk on Saturday, August 27, at 2 pm. The exhibition runs through Sunday, September 11. Cook County Farm & Craft Market

Cook County Farm & Craft Market is held from each Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Senior Center parking lot. A variety of arts and crafts as well as baked goods, starter plants and more are offered by more than 20 vendors. 
 

Waste Electronics Collection Day

Lighthouse Point Tours

Cook County Historical Society sponsors guided tours to Lighthouse Point every Saturday at 1 pm. Tours start at the Museum, go to the lighthouse breakwater and last about one hour. Children must be accompanied by an adult. More information is available at the Museum or at 387-2883.
