Kent has volunteered with WTIP since 2002, beginning as a host of the AM Community Calendar.  He currently hosts the PM Community Calendar on Mondays with Nick Vavrichek (the two are quite well-known for their 'fifth-grader' jokes), and occassionally hosts Small Change.  Kent is 'retired' from a career as an Interpretive Naturalist, and since then has built his own house, lives off the grid, maintains a large vegetable garden, and enjoys kayak and canoe camping.  A favorite quote of his:  "Any lie, repeated often, eventually has the appearance of truth."  About WTIP he says, "Couldn't live here without it.  If it wasn't here, we'd have to start it!"
