As far as we know, it's a didgeridoo debut on The Roadhouse--take a listen

The didgeridoo is a wind instrument that originated with indigenous Australians, still in widespread use both in Australia and all over the world. Local musician Brian Bennett brought two of his instruments to Studio A to talk with Buck & Dick about how the instrument and the music is made, and played a few tunes.

Fingerstyle master Phil Heywood plays The Roadhouse

Buck & Dick hosted fingerstyle guitarist Phil Heywood in Studio A Oct. 25 during membership drive. Phil was in town to play a concert with Gordon Thorne the next evening at the ACA.

Critter du Jour brings music & fun to The Roadhouse

Buck, Dick & Ann welcomed local band Critter du Jour to Studio A during the recent "All Welcome" membership drive. Ken McMillan,  guitar; Barb LaVigne, flute; Tom VanCleve, accordion & fiddle; and Susan Maijala; percussion, made lovely music and lots of laughs.  


 

Joe Paulik, Max Bichel & Derek Smith play The Roadhouse

Buck & Bob welcomed Joe Paulik (guitar, vocals), Max Bichel (fiddle) and Derek Smith (percussion) for live music in Studio A Oct. 4.

Songwriter Jon Vezner, folk legend Tom Paxton, and guitarist Jonathan Brown, all on The Roadhouse

Buck & Dick welcomed Tom Paxton, Jon Vezner, and Jonathan Brown to Studio A Sept. 13 for talk and music. The three were in Grand Marais to perform on NPR's Mountain Stage, Friday evening, and Unplugged XII, Saturday evening, both at North House Folk School.

Grammy award-winner Jerry Vandiver plays The Roadhouse

Nashville songwriter Jerry Vandiver joined Dick Swanson & Ann Possis in Studio A Aug. 9 to chat about his work and share his delightful music. You can see a video of Jerry performing "Me & Molly," his song about a canoe dog, here.
