Each month the Local Music Project highlights a different musician from our area as well as those visiting our neck of the woods. Tune in on the third Thursday of the month at 4 pm and third Saturday at 2 pm to catch the latest edition of the Local Music Project.

Cathy Quinn-Amy Marie Schmidt lives in Hovland with her husband and young daughter. She moved to the North Shore from Iowa about 6 years ago.
Local Music Project: Sue Maijala
Cathy Quinn-Sue Maijala has lived in Cook County for over 20 years. She grew up in rural northwestern Minnesota near the Red River Valley in a farming town of 300 people called Middle River.
Butch Deschampe on the Local Music Project
Carah Thomas-Butch Deschampe is a lifelong resident of Cook County, playing and singing in a number of local bands over the years. He's currently with the popular country band "Portage."&
David Grinstead on the Local Music Project
Cathy Quinn-David Grinstead grew up in Edwardsville, Illinois, but has called Cook County home for many years. At age 13 he formed the Princetons.
