The Minnesota DNR will join other agencies by GPS collaring moose this fall. The technology is sophisticated enough to let researchers know when an animal dies and where, so the carcass can be retrieved for study before it is scavenged.  WTIP’s Jay Andersen spoke with State Wildlife Veterinarian Erika Butler about moose mortality.
