DOWNHILL SKIING AT LUTSEN MOUNTAINS

Lutsen Mountains ski area is open daily, with a total of 52 primary runs and 40 backcountry runs on four mountains served by seven chairlifts. Hours 9:30 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4 pm weekends and holidays. Sugarbush Trails, Lutsen-Tofte
(includes trails between Britton Peak, Oberg, and Moose Fence trailheads)

Bally Creek Trails, Grand Marais

Pincushion Mountain Trails, Lower Gunflint Trail

George Washington Pines, Lower Gunflint Trail

Banadad Ski Trails, Gunflint Trail

Central Gunflint Trails

Information is available from Bearskin Lodge, 218-388-2292, www.bearskin.com; or Golden Eagle Lodge, 218-388-2203www.golden-eagle.com. Trail passes are required and can be purchased at Bearskin Lodge or Golden Eagle Lodge. A trail map is available at www.visitcookcounty.com/uploads/directory/980/Central_Gunflint_Ski_2010.pdf.

Upper Gunflint Trails

ICE SKATING

Birch Grove Community Center, Tofte

The Birch Grove rink and warming house are open daily, and is lighted until 10 pm. More information is available at 218-663-7977.

Cook County Community Center, Grand Marais

As of Wednesday, March 12, 2014:  
The Cook County Community Center Outdoor Ice Rinks are now closed for the season due to warm weather.
