Youth Radio Project Information Event

WTIP has some great opportunities for area students to get involved and gain experience in a variety of areas, including media, technology, music, and more.

WTIP’s inviting all students in 9th through 12th grades who might be interested in taking part in its Youth Radio Project to come to the station on Saturday, December 3rd starting at 6:00 p.m. for pizza and information about the opportunities available.

Everyone who attends the event on Dec. 3rd will learn more about all the opportunities available, behind the scenes or on-air:
• Writing
• Producing audio features and commentaries
• Engineering programs
• Hosting music and news programs
• Doing interviews
• Creating videos
• Managing the WTIP youth website
• And more!

In addition to great experience, participation in the Youth Radio Project also has other benefits, including a letter of recommendation for college applications, a chance at a small scholarship, as well as an opportunity for a paid summer internship at WTIP.
