County mapping to be available on the web

Cook County residents will soon be able to search for, download and print maps and data normally found in a plat book. The interactive database will reside at the county’s website.

Storm of historic proportions sweeps North Shore

As day broke this Wednesday morning, it became apparent that the historic, hurricane-like storm blowing along the North Shore of Lake Superior has caused significant damage.
