Drury Lane Books will be hosting poet Sandra Hisakuni and her illustrator daughter Sofia for a meet and greet on Saturday, August 3 from 11 am to 1 pm. Their children’s book, The Northland Beckons, is a great introduction to haiku and attendees can expect to learn how to write haiku in their journal. The event is open to the public.
