Cook County Extension is hosting a North Shore Farmers Winter Meet Up on Thursday, January 25 from 10 am to 2 pm at the Cook County Community Center.
This event is for local operators of small farm/agricultural businesses on the North Shore of Lake Superior to gather and learn from each other. Farms at any stage of development are welcome. There will also be brief updates from Extension, MN Dept of Ag, and the Regional Sustainable Development Partnerships on resources available to farmers. This event is open to any farmer/agricultural producer interested in attending, and the focus will be on topics relevant to farming on the North Shore of Lake Superior.
