Kindergarten registration available at Great Expectations School
As summer approaches, many families are considering enrollment for the 2024-25 school year.
Anne Mundell, the Great Expectations School kindergarten teacher, said this time of year is a great time to consider enrollment for any age level.
“One of the things that we encourage with families is to come check it out, to schedule a tour, and see what’s happening as school is in session,” Mundell said.
Families can schedule a personalized school tour to meet with teachers, sit in on a class, and walk the facility.
Mundell said kindergarten students have a special opportunity to join the class during free-choice time.
“It’s a really special way that we start the day with open-ended play,” Mundell said. “Lots of creativity and collaboration happens during that time.”
Mundell said she enjoys teaching kindergarten because of “the creativity that comes with the job.”
“Every year is a new year,” she said. “And I get to be with new students and new families and really just kind of learn and grow together.”
Parents can find additional information on the Great Expectations School website or by calling 218-387-9322 to register a student for kindergarten or any age level.
