Lake Superior DNR lake trout assessment 2022 – WTIP Outdoor News Podcast

Kalli Hawkins and Joe Friedrichs, the hosts of WTIP’s Outdoor News Podcast, took to the water on Lake Superior in mid July with fisheries staff from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. The purpose of the outing onto the Big Lake was to watch fisheries biologists and their support staff as they work on the 2022 lake trout assessment on Lake Superior.
