WTIP’s Community Garden Gets a Raised-Bed Pallet Garden!

Check out this video of the construction of a raised-bed pallet garden at WTIP’s Community Garden on June 6, 2017.

Many thanks goes out to Arrowhead Electric for the Operation Round Up Grant that made this possible! And special thanks to Bob LaMettry, who found the pallets, cut them to size, and put them together. The next step in the process involved putting cardboard and newspaper in the bottom, lining the sides with landscape cloth, and filling it with soil and perlite. “They” being: Bob, Matthew Brown, Diane Booth, Yvonne Mills, Hella Buchheim and of course, Joan Farnam.
