'Stage Door’ takes us behind the scenes at the Grand Marais Playhouse.
Gordon Thorne stopped by The Roadhouse April 1 to play a few tunes and chat. The main topic of conversation was the sixth annual Fingerstyle Masters Weekend, coming up April 8 & 9 at Bluefin Bay in Tofte, and featuring guitarist Pat Donohue, along with fiddler Tom Schaefer. You can learn more here.

You can learn more about the band and their upcoming performances here.
Musician Jon Kallberg of Lutsen has played guitar for many years, and made his Roadhouse debut Feb. 26 with a harp guitar (pictured) and a six-string. You may catch him playing at Lutsen Resort; his next gig there is March 8.
Musicians Gordon Thorne and Jim Ohlschmidt stopped by WTIP to play The Roadhouse for membership drive. Listen for their special, original "Cabin Fever" song.
Most everyone has an overused word or two that drives them crazy when they hear it, and the folks at Lake Superior State University are doing something about it! For 40 years now they've been issuing their "List of Words Banished from the Queen's English for Mis-use, Over-use, and General Uselessness." John Shibley of LSSU's PR department chatted with Dick about this year's list. You can get more info and past lists here.
