There will be a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Parkside Project (boat launch) at the Grand Marais Recreation Area Thursday, Sept. 15 at 2 p.m. Speakers will include DNR Commissioner Sarah Strommen, DNR Parks and Trails Deputy Director Phil Leversedge, and Park Manager Dave TerSteeg.
