Americorps Seniors: Foster Grandparent Program Information Meeting

There is an upcoming information meeting with the representative from Lutheran Social Service to explore the possibility of having a Foster Grandparent program, specifically to support Early Childhood Programs in Cook County.  The meeting will be held Thursday, December 14 from 1 to 2 pm at The Hub.

Seniors who have an interest in building relationships with young children and supporting childcare initiatives in our community are especially welcome to join this meeting. Americorp provides an hourly stipend and training for seniors willing to make a commitment of at least 4 hours/week.
