Fables of the North Shore Exhibit Closing Party and Performances
Fables of the North Shore, an art and story-telling exhibit by Jordan Sundberg and Natalie Salminen is on display at Fika Coffee through Saturday, September 24. The exhibit centers around folklorish and original tales of the North Shore written by Jordan and Natalie. Along with the fables, they have created a wide range of pieces to illustrate the stories and morals of the stories.
A closing party will take place on Saturday, September 24 from 2-4 pm on the grassy knoll by the Fika building. Parking is available at the Lutsen Lutheran Church.
2-3 pm – fiddle music by Clancy Ward, puppet-making for kiddos, old-time accordion music with Norwegian and Finnish vocals.
3-4 pm – live, commissioned puppet performances of each of the five fables with a live narrator and accompaniment of accordion, tuba and guitar.
If you are inclined to be a crowd participant with zest, come dressed in head-to-toe denim.
