A reception and book launch for “Go Away, Rock Snot!” will be held at the Johnson Heritage Post on Tuesday, April 8, from 3:30 to 6:30 pm. The child authors and illustrators will be present. The book launch will also feature opening remarks by Margaret Hedstrom, president of the Cook County Historical Society, as well as a microscope tour of “rock snot” by Dr. Mark Edlund of the Science Museum of Minnesota.
