Open House: City Tree Inventory

The City of Grand Marais will host an open house at the Cook County Community Center Log Cabin on Thursday, September 12 from 4 to 6 pm. The event will share information about the ReLeaf grant project to conduct a city-wide tree inventory and develop an urban forest management plan. Attendees can expect to learn about tree survey methods for public and private trees and how they can contribute data about trees in their own yard. The event will also be a place for the public to express their comments and concerns about tree maintenance and policy within the city.
