Vikings coaches talk girls’ team returing to varsity action this season

The girls’ Vikings basketball program returned to varsity this season after a year of only having a junior varsity team. Head coach Levi Libra told WTIP he’s excited to see the engagement and effort continue to grow from the players on the team throughout the season. Libra added it’s been great to have community support for the team in the bleachers at home games throughout the season.

Two home games remain for the team. A varsity-only game against Silver Bay on Monday, Feb. 17 against Silver Bay and JV and varsity will take on McGregor on Friday, Feb. 21. The Monday game vs. Silver Bay will be parent’s night and senior night.
