Annie Humphrey’s “Fire in the Village” comes to Grand Marais
Annie Humphrey is an acclaimed songwriter and activist originally from Leech Lake Indian Reservation in Northern Minnesota, who has a decades long career making powerful music. Her latest project is called Fire in the Village, a project dedicated to sparking connections within communities through art and reminding them of their own power. She joins Will Moore on Scenic Route to talk about the goals of the project before an event in Grand Marais that includes print making, a fashion show, and music alongside guitarist Jeremy Ylvisaker and drummer Sean Carey.
