New York rocker Jeff Slate comes to Silver Bay for summer show
Jeff Slate is a New York-based musician and songwriter who’s decades-long career working from the ground up in NYC has led him to collaborate with some of the biggest names in rock music. A writer as well as a performer, he has authored and co-authored books about stars like Roy Orbison and penned liner notes for The Beatles and Rolling Stones. Coming off of the release of his album The Last Day of Summer in 2024, he returns to Minnesota to play the Music in the Park concert series in Silver Bay. He joins Will Moore by phone on The Scenic Route to talk about his long musical career, his latest record, and how the music industry has changed over the years.
