Cook County Nordic Ski Team wraps up season, Emma Crook heads to State

With the ample snow this winter, it has been a fulfilling and rewarding year for the Cook County Nordic Ski Team.

As the season comes to an end, the Nordic ski team is celebrating one of their teammates advancing to the State Meet.

Emma Crook, an eleventh-grader on the Nordic ski team, qualified for the State Meet and will be traveling on Thursday, Feb. 13, to Giant’s Ridge in Biwabik, Minn. Her teammates and coaches will be accompanying her to support and cheer her on.

WTIP’s M Baxley visited the Cook County Nordic Ski Team at Pincushion Mountain and spoke with the head coach and members of the team.
