ServSafe Food Manager Certification & Renewal
Cook County Higher Education is hosting ServSafe Food Manager Certification & Renewal on Sunday, March 9th. The full certification is 8 am to 5:30 pm and the Renewal portion is 8 am to noon. This training is designed to fulfill requirements for Minnesota state and local health departments on responsible food service measures. More information is available at myCCHE.org/events.
Bone Builders
Bone Builders is a group exercise weight training program that was created for adults who are interested in preventing and reducing osteoporosis. Bone Builders meets at the Lutsen Town Hall on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 to 11 am.
Grand Marais Al-Anon Meetings
Monday Night Al-Anon will meet Mondays, at 7 pm at the First Congregational Church in Grand Marais.
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners
The Cook County Board of Commissioners meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Room.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is available on Tuesdays at the Cook County Community Center from 9 am to 3 pm. This program offers tax help to seniors and people of low to moderate income. No appointment is needed. First come, first served.

Tofte, Lutsen, Schroeder Community Blood Drive
A Tofte, Lutsen, Schroeder Community Blood Drive will be held on Tuesday, March 11 from noon to 6 pm at Zoar Lutheran Church in Tofte. Donation is by appointment. Appointments can be made on the Memorial Blood Center site or by contacting Jane Johnson at (218) 663-7254 or dippersc99@gmail.com.
