Modern Dance Drop-in Classes will be held from 5:30 to 7 pm on Thursdays in March and April at the Community Center Log Cabin. Ages 12 to adult and all experience levels and abilities are welcome. Cook County Higher Education hosts How Can We Listen Actively? on Friday, March 7 from noon to 1 pm at CCHE or over Zoom. Facilitators Nina McCune and Enno Limvere will explore how to do it actively and effectively. Practicing techniques like “looping” in small groups and discussing pre-selected topics gathered through a participant poll. More information is available at myCCHE.org/events.
Dappled Fern Fibers hosts a Saturday Fiber Circle from 10 to 11:30 am. Knitting, crocheting, spinning darning, embroidery, cross stitching, and all other fiber arts are welcome.

Bone Builders is a group exercise weight training program that was created for adults who are interested in preventing and reducing osteoporosis. Bone Builders meets at the Lutsen Town Hall on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 to 11 am.
Monday Night Al-Anon will meet Mondays, at 7 pm at the First Congregational Church in Grand Marais.
The Cook County Board of Commissioners meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Room.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is available on Tuesdays at the Cook County Community Center from 9 am to 3 pm. This program offers tax help to seniors and people of low to moderate income. No appointment is needed. First come, first served.

A Tofte, Lutsen, Schroeder Community Blood Drive will be held on Tuesday, March 11 from noon to 6 pm at Zoar Lutheran Church in Tofte. Donation is by appointment. Appointments can be made on the Memorial Blood Center site or by contacting Jane Johnson at (218) 663-7254 or dippersc99@gmail.com.
Lutsen Yoga takes place on Tuesdays from 6 to 6:45 at the Town Hall. All ages and abilities are welcome. 10 mats are available for use on a first come first served basis.
There is no class on the third Tuesday of the month due to the township meetings.
