The Grand Marais Public Library will host local poet Amy Woschek Schmidt to teach the monthly poetry workshop on Wednesday, August 13, from 6 to 8 pm. The Cook County SCRAP Society poetry workshops typically involve direct teaching, poetic exercises, and time to share the poetry that participants have been working on, either at home or at the workshop. The workshop is geared to ages fourteen and up.
