The Cook County Coalition of Lake Associations’ September meeting will be held on Thursday, September 11, from 10 am to noon at the Cook County Community Center. There will be an opportunity to learn about the progress being made toward stopping the spread of Aquatic Invasive Species and how planting selected native tree species can protect waters, shorelines, and the environment now and for future generations. There will also be an opportunity to meet with the new Cook County Administrator, Kristin Trebil-Halbersma, and 4th District County Commissioner Ann Sullivan.
