The Cook County Historical Society will hold its annual meeting on Saturday, October 12 from 2 to 4 pm at the Johnson Heritage Post Art Gallery. They will highlight HCC’s newly configured strategic plan, share information about what supporters can expect as Historic Cook County enters its 100th year, and read a few excerpts from their newly published book, At the End of the Caribou Trail: Tait Lake and the Life of Cap & Billie Peterson. Cookies and cocoa will be offered.
