Dark Sky Caravan & Star Parties
The Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium is hitting the road again for its 8th annual Dark Sky Caravan from August 11 to 16.
To celebrate our dark skies, Planetarium staff will be traveling along the North Shore, stopping at different locations each night for a star party.
Tuesday, August 12, at Split Rock Lighthouse from 8 to 10 pm
Wednesday, August 13, at Tettegouche State Park Visitor Center from 8 to 11 pm.
Thursday, August 14, at North House Folk School from 8 to 11 pm.
Friday, August 15, at the Schapp Community Center from 8 to 11 pm.
Saturday, August 16, at the Seagull Lake Community Center from 4 to 6 pm AND at Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center from 6:30 to 10:30 pm.
