Rhonda Silence Memorial ATV Fall Pizza Ride
The Cook County ATV Club invites the public to ride with club members for a Rhonda Silence memorial ATV fall pizza ride on Saturday, September 27, at 10 a.m. The fall pizza ride will be held in honor of the club’s longtime secretary and founding member, Rhonda Silence.
The ride will leave from the old runway by Skyport Lodge at 10 a.m. From there, the ride will head to the South Brule parking lot off the Gunflint Trail to meet additional riders. At 10:45 a.m., riders will depart the South Brule parking lot and continue to the house of Jay and Laura LaFavor at 1339 Tom Lake Rd for wood-fired pizzas. Pizza will be served between noon and 3 p.m. After lunch, some riders plan on riding the Hovland Woods Trail before returning to the meeting locations.
