A community solar light build will take place at Bethlehem Lutheran in Grand Marais on Tuesday, May 20, from 6 to 8 pm. The event is the culmination of a month-long fundraising effort that goes toward building the solar kits and delivering them to Ukrainian families.
Dave Nonemaccher will give an update on his recent visit to Ukraine and the ongoing efforts to provide Solar Light Kits and cell phone chargers to Ukrainians for their homes. After Dave’s presentation, community members will be building approximately 40 kits to be delivered to Ukraine this year.
