Cook County Higher Education is streaming the 2024 Overcoming Racism Conference on Friday, November 8 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at their building. The event will explore the impact of racist policies and practices on Black, Indigenous, and other Communities of Color across various sectors, focusing on potential steps toward healing and repair. Presentations will highlight ongoing efforts in Minnesota communities and invite participants to envision new possibilities for the future.
After the streamed presentations, CCHE attendees can participate in a discussion. Lunch will be provided by the First Congregational Church, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, and Spirit of the Wilderness. More information and registration is available at myCCHE.org/events.
