Mike Davies and Scott Harrison honored for 35 years of service at Superior National golf course
On a sunny Wednesday afternoon, community members gathered in Lutsen to honor Mike Davies and Scott Harrison for their 35 years of service to the Superior National golf course.
After three decades of service at the golf course, Davies and Harrison have recently retired or stepped away from their roles.
“I think most of us know we’re in a transition, but I sincerely believe that this golf course has a very, very bright future because of these people right here,” said Mike Larson, the President of the Superior National Board of Governors. “They’ve set us up for success, and I don’t want them to be forgotten.”
During the surprise gathering on Sept. 25, Larson presented Davies with a commemorative sign and Harrison with a plaque.
