Field Notes is an original feature created by Molly Hoffman, a long time WTIP contributor. Molly is no longer with us, but she has left behind a legacy of ornithological field work including three volumes of bird songs that she and her husband Ken collected in the Boreal forest in northeastern Minnesota.
