Support

Over 1,300 listeners are active members. By choosing to support WTIP with a financial donation, these members provide essential funding that helps make WTIP’s services possible.

Of our annual active members, approximately 33% are sustaining members, or people who give a monthly gift to WTIP through their bank account or on a credit card. This kind of contribution helps in a number of ways, like planning our monthly and quarterly budgets, cutting down on fees and mailings, and helping to even out our monthly cash flow.

If monthly giving might work for you, just follow the link below and choose your level of monthly support.
You can sign on as a sustaining member, or give a one-time gift. It’s up to you!

Being a Day Sponsor of programming is another great way to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, share a tribute to a special person in your life, or support community radio while honoring someone you admire. A gift of $180.00 to WTIP qualifies you as a Day Sponsor, entitling you to a minimum of six on-air announcements on a day of your choosing. Membership FAQ

How much do I need to give to be a WTIP member? A donation of any dollar amount makes you a member of WTIP for one year.

When do I need to renew my membership? Your WTIP membership is considered active from one year after your last contribution. We will notify you when your renewal time is approaching. Sustaining memberships do not require renewal and remain active until you contact us to make a change.

What is a sustaining membership? A sustaining membership supports us with automatic charges to a credit card or bank account on the 15th of each month. You choose a dollar amount that works for you. Sustaining memberships help us by providing a regular stream of income. Additional one-time gifts on top of a sustaining membership are always welcomed.

How can I update the payment information for my sustaining membership? If the card linked to your sustaining membership is due to expire, you may call us, visit in-person, or submit new card info online with our donation form and write a note about the change.

  • Vehicle Donations

Have an unwanted vehicle that’s collecting dust (or rust)?
You may be able to turn it into a gift of support for WTIP. Vehicle donation is a great way to dispose of a car or truck you no longer need and support community radio at the same time. And because WTIP is a nonprofit organization, your contribution is tax deductible.

Donate a vehicle, and you become a member of WTIP Community Radio.
In addition to supporting the programs you love, your vehicle donation will make you a Member of WTIP. Your vehicle is towed free of charge, and the donation is eligible for a tax deduction.

    It’s Easy!
Donating a car is fast, easy and secure. WTIP accepts any vehicle — running or not — including cars, trucks, boats, RVs, motorcycles, and more. We work with Vehicle Donation to Any Charity, to ensure that your donation delivers the highest possible donation to WTIP. It’s a gift that won’t rust!
