Top three winners announced for Fisherman’s Picnic annual drawing

The 94th annual Fisherman’s Picnic was full of live music, bingo, reunions, fishburgers, tractor rides, fun competitions, and fireworks. While many businesses and individuals around town noticed a slightly quieter Fisherman’s Picnic this year, the weekend events still drew a decent crowd.

On Sunday, the Grand Marais Lion’s Club drew annual raffle winners, and three lucky local winners walked away with the top prizes.

Top three winners:

The winner of the $10,000 prize is Maranda Deschampe

The winner of the $1,000 prize is Lacey Smith

The winner of the $500 is Sandy Stover

The Grand Marais Lion’s Club is still working to confirm and contact other prize winners.

The Grand Marais Lion’s Club said all prizes can be picked up at the Cook County News Herald for the next two weeks.
