Superior National & Health Care Foundation Host 4th Annual ‘Golf for the Good’ on September 29-30
There is still ample time to sign up to participate or volunteer in the 4th Annual ‘Golf for the Good’ event happening on Sept. 29 and 30 at Superior National Golf Course.
“This is a big fundraiser for us, because it helps us do more in the community. It helps us give more funding and grants and incubate programs,” said Valerie Marasco Eliasen, Executive Director – North Shore Health Care Foundation in a recent interview with WTIP.
The 4th annual fall event will feature a traditional golf tournament including player welcome bags, great prizes, contests, refreshments and food throughout the day. In addition, an opportunity to enjoy the surrounding fall colors and support health care and emergency services including Fire, EMS, Search & Rescue, and Law Enforcement programs along the North Shore of Minnesota.
“You don’t have to be a really good golfer,” Marasco Eliasen said. “We encourage everyone to get a group together and have some fun Golfing for the Good.”
Participants can book a tee time between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on either or both days. Tee times can be made online or by calling toll free (US) 1-888-564-6543 or 218-663-7195 and mentioning #Golf for the Good.
