Sawtooth Mountain Clinic talks prenatal care and services

From preconception counseling to birth education, Sawtooth Mountain Clinic offers a wide variety of prenatal care and services for expecting mothers and families. 

“There are a couple of things that are really foundational about having local accessible health care,” said Hannah Miller, the parent-child health nurse at Sawtooth Mountain Clinic. “Having somebody here at home that you can trust and see and have built that relationship with over time is really valuable just from an access standpoint.” 

Miller recently stopped by WTIP to discuss the various prenatal care services offered at Sawtooth Mountain Clinic. “People who are pregnant in our community sometimes don’t know what’s available.” 

In her role, Miller said she assists women and families as they navigate a pregnancy from start to finish. Sawtooth Mountain Clinic offers birth education, preconception counseling, breastfeeding support, family home visiting, nutrition, and more.
