Historic Cook County Presents Public Art Project “Biota Borealis” Unveiling

Historic Cook County will host its Public Art Project Unveiling and corresponding Artist Talk with Maeve Gathje on Saturday, September 28 at 4 pm at the Johnson Heritage Post Art Gallery. The Public Art, titled Biota Borealis, consists of three sand-blasted Minnesota granite displaying scenes of Northern Minnesota beauty.
The celebration will begin with an Artist’s Talk where Gathje will share photos and stories about her process of designing and working with the stones. Following a brief Q&A session, they will transition outside for the Grand Unveiling.
