Tom Petty tribute act comes to Grand Portage for 4th of July
Free Fallin’ is a long-running Tom Petty tribute band based out of the Twin Cities that has been going strong for over 15 years. The band strives to present Petty’s music and live stage show as accurately as possible, and had the honor of playing a show in his hometown of Gainesville, FL, shortly after his passing in 2017. The band’s manager Mark Larsen joins Will Moore on The Scenic Route to talk about the band, its members, and what made Petty a lasting songwriter people continue to enjoy.
Free Fallin’ will be performing at 8:30pm on July 5th at Grand Portage Lodge and Casino for their Rock the Lake festival. More information is at grandportage.com
