Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center hosts Erik Simula on Saturday, September 27, from 2 to 3 pm. Erik is a Finnish-American birchbark canoe builder, wilderness guide, and writer from Duluth. Erik will talk about his forthcoming book, Arrowhead Journey, about his 4-month, 1,000-mile birchbark canoe voyage encircling the 1854 Ceded Territory in 2009.
