Slambovian Circus of Dreams coming for a string of Northland shows

The Slambovian Circus of Dreams is a New York-based band whose roots are still rooted firmly in the dream of the 1960s counterculture movement, playing a mix of psychedelic rock and folk music, adding in whatever influences and instruments fit their fancy. Lead singer Joziah Longo and multi-instrumentalist Tink Lloyd join Will Moore by phone to talk about the bands origins, how their name was created as an anti-label measure, and their latest album A Very Unusual Head.

The band will be performing three times in the area this week:

Thurs, August 21 – West Theater in Duluth, MN

Friday, August 22 – Porcupine Mountains Music Festival in Ontanagon, MI

Saturday August 23 – WOJB Woodland Jam in Hayward, WI
