Cook County Higher Education and Care Partners are hosting a Lunch & Learn: It’s Time to (Fire)Wise Up! on Wednesday, September 24, from noon to 1 pm at CCHE & over Zoom. Firewise Coordinator Steve VanKekerix will talk about the latest on the Cook County Firewise program – part of a national effort to encourage local solutions and fuel reduction for wildfire safety.
