Split Rock Lighthouse hosting a Community Night and Beacon Lighting July 31

You may have noticed scaffolding around the iconic Split Rock Lighthouse in previous months.

The historic preservation work is now done. The scaffolding is gone. And the Lighthouse is ready to celebrate with a ribbon-cutting and special lighting of the Split Rock beacon on Friday, July 31 at 6:30 pm.

WTIP’s CJ Heithoff spoke with Split Rock Lighthouse site manager Hayes Scriven to learn more about the community event.
