Bizhiki returns to perform in Cook County
Bizhiki is the music project of Ojibwe singers Dylan Bizhikiins Jennings and Joe Rainey, along with drummer S. Carey. Together they combine traditional indigenous singing with rich and complex soundscapes. Jennings (pictured left) joins Will Moore on The Scenic Route to talk about the band’s return to the county after a sold-out show last year and gives insight to how he views his role as a singer within his own community.
Bizhiki will be performing at the Arrowhead Center for the Arts in Grand Marais on Saturday, October 10th at 7pm in a show made possible through the North Shore Music Association.
