Alpha Consumer to play “Cooperative Listening” shows at North House
Minneapolis trio Alpha Consumer will be returning to Grand Marais with two shows at North House Folk School. “Cooperative Listening with Mike Lewis” will be a North Shore Music Association event that features the group’s bass and saxophone player leading an ongoing conversation about making music with others and collaborating creatively throughout a performance alongside Jeremy Ylvisaker on guitar and JT Bates on drums. Mike sat down with Will Moore on The Scenic Route to talk more about what to expect from the shows as well as the group’s visit to ISD 166 to work with band students.
