Lone Piñon to bring the music of New Mexico to North Shore
Lone Piñon is an orquesta típica band from New Mexico that specializes in the traditional musical styles of the northern part of the state, where a crossroads of different cultures made it a hotbed of many different musical styles combining into its own distinct regional sound. Will Moore talks with the band’s fiddler and guitarist Jordan Wax about the history of this music, how he got involved with the band, and details about their upcoming next album.
