Martha Scanlan and Jon Neufeld join Erik Koskinen for Grand Marais shows
Montana-based singer-songwriter Martha Scanlan and Portland, OR-based guitarist Jon Neufeld have been making music together for over 15 years and continue to build their musical style into a type of folk music that defies classification. They’ll be coming to Grand Marais for two shows alongside Minnesota artist Erik Koskinen at Up Yonder on Feb. 7th and the Grand Marais Community Center on Feb. 8th. Martha and Jon join Will Moore on the Scenic Route by phone to share more about how they write songs distantly and their latest works together.
