Cook County physician bringing it all back home to Duluth

Doctor Kurt Farchmin has been a physician at Sawtooth Mountain Clinic since 2015.

Farchmin became well known to WTIP listeners during the COVID-19 pandemic, appearing regularly on the air to provide updates to the community about the coronavirus and what national and worldwide trends during the pandemic meant on the local level.

Farchmin is leaving Cook County at the end of June. He is taking a new role in healthcare in Duluth. He stopped by WTIP recently to share some reflections on being a local healthcare provider in Cook County for nearly a decade. Audio below.
